Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these - use them everyday I've used these jars for about 3 years and I love them. I really was surprised to see all the negative reviews as I haven't had any issues at all. I use them for homemade yogurt, storing and carrying nuts in lunchboxes, fruit, etc. Tonight I'm going to use them to store peaches in a light syrup for my daughter to take to school (abundance of peaches from my trees). I would highly recommend them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Container is very brittle I bought a new 3-container box. The filled container tips and rolls off the freezer shelf and the plastic shatters.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problem with lids I was so pleased to find this product, but I have had a problem with the plastic part in the lid cracking and breaking in the freezer :( If these were really freezer safe, this should not have happened.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lids don't stay on in the older style I also could not get the lids to stay on these. When I was in the store where I bought them today, I note that they now have "no leak" lids that actually appear to snap on properly. Is there any chance of getting Ball to send us new lids?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely worthless, doesn't seal. I'll be throwing these away. I thought maybe I was missing something, but after reading the other reviews, it's clear that these "jars" are just garbage. The snap on lids don't seal properly and they won't even stay on half of them at all. Complete waste of money, makes me never want to purchase from this brand again. And now this site is telling me that my "nickname" is too short? It is the shortened version of my ACTUAL NAME. Give me a break. Pathetic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge drop in quality seen in 2016 Six of these purchased in 2016 are a joke: totally too large lids that let my soups in the freezer spoil. In previous years, this product was great; I still use the old version, although a few lids have finally gotten stretched or bent. (To be expected, over time and with use.) I like most of all the still older screw-in lid freezer jars. I continue to use them. But those jars bought this year, 2016: what a bust! We really should be compensated or provided with a better product or coupon or something.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Bought both the smaller and larger with the green rubber lids - they are awful. Made freezer jam, they do not seal at all. Can not stack in the freezer - had one fall over - was the worlds worst mess to clean up. Thought they looked like they would be great - the purple screw on lids never leaked. Disappointed I bought so many, used them, had freezer burn on my jam. Wasted not only money on the jars, but all my hard work from my garden.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1 yr ish I agree with the other reviewers that they are not up to Ball standards, but please don't give up and find the right manufacturer to make them this size and larger! I have had mine for a year, but have had problems with spoilage after moving to fridge.
