Fruit Leathers, Jerky & Rubs< Back Mango LeatherYou will need: 2 lb mangoes (about 3 medium) 2 Tbsp corn syrup 1 Tbsp lemon juice Plastic food storage bags or vacuum packages Directions: 1.) WASH mangoes and drain. Peel, pit and dice mangoes. 2.) PUREE mangoes in a food processor or blender. Add corn syrup and lemon juice. Blend. Spread puree evenly on dehydrator trays to 1/4-inch thick. 3.) DRY at 135°F until pliable, about 12 to 14 hours. 4.) CUT mango leather into 6-inch circles. Place parchment paper or plastic wrap between circles. 5.) STORE in plastic food storage bags or vacuum package. Label. |
