Can It! 125 Years of the Ball Jar

 

Experience the Ball® Jar like never before! Discover how the Ball® Jar has profoundly impacted the lives of so many people - both near and far - through a 3,000 square foot, interactive museum exhibit. Can It! 125 Years of the Ball Jar is an original exhibit that will be open to the public from April 4th through August 23rd at Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie, Indiana.

 

 

Fun Fact: The Ball Brothers moved their glass manufacturing business from Buffalo, New York to Muncie, Indiana in 1887. Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie was built on the land where the original Frank C. Ball home once stood.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Learn to Can with Preserving the Harvest Classes  

 

 

 

 

Ball® Brand Fresh Preserving Products has partnered with Gardening How-To Magazine and National Home Gardening Club to bring you how-to canning classes. Join others just like you in a classroom environment to learn hands-on how to preserve freshly grown produce straight from your garden. With expert instruction, you will make and sample foods like Bruschetta and Savory Carrot-Fennel Soup – you do not want to miss this exciting opportunity!
