Blueberry Freezer Jam


Preserving Method: Freezing

  1. Prepare blueberries: In a medium sized pan crush one layer of berries at a time using a potato masher. Bring to a boil.
  2. Combine prepared fruit with sugar in a large bowl, mixing thoroughly. Let stand 10 minutes.
  3. Add entire contents of both pectin pouches and lemon juice. Stir for 3 minutes.
  4. Ladle freezer jam into clean jars leaving a 1/2 inch headspace. Loosely apply lids and let jam stand in refrigerator until set, but no longer than 24 hours. Serve immediately, refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
