Perfect Pesto


Preserving Method: Freezing

  1. PUREE basil, garlic, walnuts, Asiago and lemon juice in a food processor or blender until smooth.  While processor is running, slowly pour in olive oil and add salt and pepper.
  2. POUR pesto into Ball Frozen Herb Starter tray, cover and freeze until ready to use. 

QUICK TIP:  To THAW, remove cubes from tray and defrost in refrigerator or at room temperature.  To thaw quickly, place in a microwave-safe measuring cup and microwave on HIGH 15-20 seconds until softened.
