Quick Cranberry Apple Freezer Butter


Preserving Method: Freezing

  1. Whisk both sugars, spices and instant pectin in a bowl until well blended. Set aside.
  2. Pulse cranberries in a blender until finely chopped. Add apples, orange zest, 1/2 cup of orange juice and the lemon juice. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Add cranberry-apple puree and orange zest to the pectin mixture. Stir 3 minutes.
  3. Ladle freezer butter into clean jars leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Apply lids fingertip tight and let jam stand until set, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately, refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year
