Scampi Sauce


Preserving Method: Freezing

  1. MELT butter in large skillet and sauté garlic until golden.  Stir in wine and simmer on low heat until reduced by half.  Stir in cream and simmer about 3 minutes. Add parsley and season with salt and pepper if desired.
  2. POUR into Herb Starter trays and freeze.
  3. When ready to use, thaw and toss with pasta, shrimp or vegetables.
  4. TIP: To thaw cubes, remove from tray and defrost in refrigerator or at room temperature. To quickly thaw, place in a microwave-safe measuring cup and microwave on HIGH 15-20 seconds until softened.
