Preserving Method: Freezing

  1. BLEND pineapple, mangoes, bananas, lemon juice and lime juice in a food processor until well blended. Combine fruit puree with water in a large saucepan.
  2. ADD pectin, stirring to dissolve. Slowly bring to a boil. Add gelatin, stirring to dissolve.
  3. LADLE jam into clean jars to fill line. Apply lids. Let stand until thickened and cooled, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use I bought this a week ago and haven't had ant sucess yet, due to poor instructions from the company. The product is great but I have found so far 4 different types of ball pectin, no warning that the instant wont work on certain types of jelly etc.or that you should use only classic or what ever type the recipe calls for. Next I live at 5800 plus feet and it says to add time to cooking time but no where can I find in the book how to achive this little process and I have punched every combination posssible to no avail. The finished amount is the only disapointment so far I am sure this machine will work but I need more spacifics. Thank you Mary jo
